The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager who will work to define, improve, and execute Operations process & procedures and be front & center resolving any incidents we encounter.
Reporting to EMQ's Head of Global Product Operations, this role will be a driving force to ensure our customers are able to remit money as quickly as possible. You'll be working closely with the EMQ team to deliver a world-class operations experience for a globally distributed customer base.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the team to develop, improve, and execute operational processes & procedures.
2. Work closely with our Network team to understand new partner integrations, define the processes & procedures & improve ongoing integrations.
3. Collaborate with Tier 1, Tier 2 & other teams to drive system improvements that help us deliver results quicker.
4. Drive resolutions to complicated incidents.
5. Execute daily processes resolving any incidents efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements:
1. College/University academic background or above. 2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in an operations or service desk role, preferably in a company specializing in remittance business or relevant unit. 3. Knowledge of developing & improving processes & procedures is a must. 4. Strong technical background, especially around REST-based Web APIs. 5. Excellent verbal & written English skills; strong problem-solving ability with a proven record. 6. Zendesk experience (or equivalents) or ITIL qualification is a plus. 7. Willing to take the weekend shifts, if necessary.
