Job Overview This position is for an WLAN/Embedded system hardware engineer with strong technology background, problem solving and communication skills. The daily work could include customer training, issue debugging, testing, WiFi certification. The individual will also support customers to integrate Qualcomm WLAN solution into their product and support them from design phase to mass production. The individual will be interacting with marketing teams, product managers, sales teams, and development teams to resolve customer issues. 1. Conduct WiFi Performance Tests: Execute tests to evaluate WiFi performance, compare the difference between customer design and our reference design. 2. WiFi Testbed Setups: Identify and resolve issues in WiFi test environments to ensure accurate and reliable testing. 3. Troubleshoot WiFi Issues: Investigate and address problems related to WiFi performance and stability, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques. Minimum Qualifications - Knowledge in radio frequency simulation CADs, like ADS, Matlab, Polar. - Experience in WiFi signal measurement by using spectrum analyzer, signal generator or network analyzer instruments. - Experience in WiFi AP router schematic and layout drawing, familiar with ORCAD and Allegro CADs - BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related fields. - Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

What we need to see: • Currently pursuing BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field at a university. • 0 to 2 years of significant software development experience. • Demonstrate a hand on technical background; excellent C programming, C++, Perl/Python, and low-level driver experience. • You are an asset if you have familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc). • Kernel experience with Linux, Android, Chrome, or Windows systems. • Experience with complex system-level debugging is invaluable. Environmental Specialist interns may work issues related to storm water, wastewater treatment, air quality (including greenhouse gases), waste management, resource conservation, and contamination remediation (including groundwater). Most projects will include working under and in compliance with environmental regulations. Safety Specialist interns can work on several different projects with different safety aspects related to the development, testing, and production of semiconductors, including chemical, electrical, and construction safety. Projects would include assessing potential safety risks and developing a plan or solution to mitigate the risk. Industrial Hygiene Specialist interns will often have projects related to assessing the impact that a particular job function or work environment could have on the health and wellbeing of an employee. Most projects would include assessing potential physical or chemical exposure risks and methods to mitigate those exposures. Ergonomics Specialist interns work on projects that are related to ergonomics risks in the work environment at TI. Those projects can range from assessing risks in a normal office environment to very complex ergonomics risks that are unique to the semiconductor manufacturing process.
